ABIT works, only one channel of the ATA-66 is functional to date.
It works but get an extra patch from the mirrors:

OKAY,
On this new scalable APIC new stuff.
Why the flip are we now pushing the APIC number if we only have one?
Since 2.3.13-5 ->2.3.14-1, we now shutdown the once working two-way smp
apic and add in a fake. The end result is cpu0 runs but cpu1 gets
disabled and the irq's.............well assume the worst.
We are 3:3 in breaking my Tyan Tomcat III S1536D, SuperMicro P6DNF (with
detached timer on cpu1), and the new ABIT BP6.
Both the Tyan and ABit have clean MP tables.
If we are going scalable and breakable, can we set a config-flag for the
multi-apic 4/8-ways? This is really bad to doink 3:3. I will poke my
nose into it soon; however, it is so bad on the ABit, I have to telnet
into the box as the mouse and keyboard are deactivated.
Sounds like fun, you think????????????
Do we need a stupid table for APIC ids that are only two-ways?
No, IMHO, we just need to quit shifting the first to second and assuming
that another exists.
The up side to this issue is that the kernel OOPS barf is gone, but it
stole a processor, blew away a perfectly good APIC, and jams the keyboard
on the clean mptables.............gad.......
As for SanJose and LW..........I am glad that Princess Alan's legs were
smooth.
