I'm having problems getting the Micronics W6Li to work with one or two
CPU's. I thought I'd ask for advice on this list seeing as I know there
has to be someone here that has one.
The processors are both SY032's and support VID. I have the motherboard
configured to use VID also.
Now whethere there is one or two processors they/it get warm and it takes
15 seconds to uncompress the kernel. Which is just way too slow. Once init
takes over each script takes about 45 seconds. (I booted off of floppy and
used an existing Linux install on a hard disk for those who are curious.:)
I also have the clock multiplier set to 3.0x so it's not overclokced. I'm
just looking to get it work or find out which part is broken so I can
replace it and have another working SMP system. :)
Any and all help is most appreciated.
