Hm, I browsed through the BIOS of our 1600R today to look for that and didn't
find it, too. But this machine has only one CPU installed, so I thought this
was the reason for missing this option.
However, "set APIC to full table mode" is a recommendation by Compaq for
running Linux on their ProLiants...
