Hi All--
OK, I put the server back together. I only found one of the two CPUs,
though, so I need to buy one.

However, the CPU that's in there is clearly stamped "266 MHZ", but when
I cat cpuinfo, here's what I get:

processor : 0
vendor_id : GenuineIntel
cpu family : 6
model : 3
model name : Pentium II (Klamath)
stepping : 3
cpu MHz : 232.681273
cache size : 512 KB
fdiv_bug : no
hlt_bug : no
sep_bug : no
f00f_bug : no
fpu : yes
fpu_exception : yes
cpuid level : 2
wp : yes
flags : fpu vme de pse tsc msr pae mce cx8 apic sep mtrr pge mca cmov
mmx
bogomips : 231.83

1) Why does it come out 233 & not 266 in action?
2) Is it absolutely necessary to buy a stepping 3 CPU for processor 1,
or can I just take my chances?

Thanks,
Ivan
