I've got one of those motherboards currently. I can't get
it to boot with an SMP kernel. It keeps locking up. I've
got a new (to me -- assume it's refurbed <G>) Intel board
I'm going to try. I'm told that the replacement motherboard
should work fine for linux.... we'll have to see. The main
problem I've found with linux (at this point) on the
W6LI-SHO is that compiling the sound into the kernel
instead of making it modular appears to break the on-board
sound support... 'course with you wanting to use it as a
server, that wouldn't cause you any grief. :-)
If you *do* get it to boot, and get it working in SMP mode,
I'd like to hear how you did it!
        Thanks...
        John
