Hi,
what about inserting the line
append="mem=128M"
in /etc/lilo.conf
something like
image=/boot/vmlinuz
root=/dev/sda3
label=Linux
append="mem=128M"
read-only
(do not forget to run "lilo" after editing lilo.conf to rewrite the mbr)
