hi
i hope somebody can help me. i am trying to set up the second processor
on a duel PIII 550. i have uncommented the SMP entries in the
/usr/src/linux/Makefile and done a make dep, make clean , make zlilo and
lilo. have i 'made' the correct makefile? is there any way of
determining the number of processors linux can 'see' (i only know of
/proc/cpuinfo)
btw, my linux distro is 2.0.36 (RedHat 5.2)
help !
