Do you have any performance results about that mylex extremeraid 1100?
It has been offered by our computer+internet provider, but we want
to be sure about the performance.
Somebody else on this list already tested the ami megaraid elite 1500, which
seems to outperform our current ami megaraid enterprise 1400 at least by
400% up to 600%.
(Currently using the latest firmware(GH8E)/bios(1.44) revision on the
enterprise 1400, and the 1.07b linux drivers).
And a general question: what is this connection between the
Dell Poweredge raid controllers and ami? People seem to suggest to
use the latest 3.* firmware, which does not seem to be an AMI
firmware number, or even bios number (AMI does make a difference
between firmware and bios revision numbers...)
Maybe I just should make a page with tiobench and bonnieresults...
