Hi

I've just fired up my 4 disk Raid 5 2.0.13 setup and been informed that a disk has
gone down. I thought 'no problem - it might only be a bad connection' - so I shut down
(gracefully) and checked all the connections and rebooted.

It now won't complete the boot (I boot off a raw floppy image) - it goes into a loop
with the error message:

kmod: failed to exec /sbin/modprobe -s -k binfmt -464c, error = 8

also something like:

(something) fork failed, error 11.

I think (I _hope_ !) I've got a recovery disk to enable me to gain access to the raid
array. If I have, what should I be looking for and how do I recover my system, please?

Regards: Jim Ford
