(This guy's problem has been resolved)
Some people experience all kinds of hassle with the BP6
motherboard. Many others of us, though, have no problems
whatsoever. I've been happily using it, both with dual celeron
466's and, before that, with one 400 and one 466 (!), without
problems. I also use the built-in UDMA/66 controller with no
problems.
The major trick seems to be to make SURE you have a stable BIOS.
Update at least to QQ, preferably RU. This fixes the majority
of the problems. There are no guarantees that it will fix your
problems, though.
Note that I added an extra fan on the front of my case, put
thermal paste on the two CPUs, and added thermal paste and a fan
to the BX chip. This may have helped. ;-)
