Note the boot procedure of Allwinner CPUS:

1. SD Card0 also known as MMC0

2. Internal NAND flash also known as NAND

3. SD Card2 also known as MMC2

4. SPI connected NOR flash also known as SPI

5. If all fails, FEL/USB Boot mode is executed from 0xffff0020

Maybe your emmc isn’t on the right channel?

Betreff: Re: [linux-sunxi] Re: uboot for Mele M3 A20

Dear Oliver ,

the board boots fine using the uboot compiled for a20-olinuxino_micro and
placed on

the sdcard. I am not able boot using same uboot on the internal eMMC. I do
not want
to depend on the sdcard for booting. The rootfs is already on the internal
eMMC ie on
/dev/mmcblk0p2 . on p1 of the device i have put the uImage and other files.

can anyone please guide on installing the uboot on eMMC?
