 Most DDS2-Drives run at 300-400k at already compressed data, the
fastest known DDS-Streamer is the Sony-7000, which handles around 700k/s
and is quite expensive.
 But as it rewinds much slower than eg a HP1533A, it is not "simply the
best", too.
