>From your log files, it looks like the USB communication is working perfectly. The problem is that your device doesn't like the START-STOP and MODE-SENSE commands being issued by the computer. The error codes it is sending back mean that it thinks there is something wrong with the command packets. I don't see anything wrong with them, which makes it sound like there's some sort of firmware problem with the drive. On the other hand, it could just be something funny going on with that particular drive that I don't know about -- but every SCSI storage device is required to recognize those two commands. Maybe someone else who knows more about this can offer additional help.
