Can you try reverting this patch on your tree:
  http://www.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/people/gregkh/usb/2.5/usb-hid-2.5.70.patch
and letting us know if that fixes the problem or not?

And if so, can you send us the output of /proc/bus/usb/devices with your
USB keyboard plugged in?
