Dunno about thoughts, but I can confirm that if I disconnect my camera, I have to reboot before I can reconnect to /dev/camera, which is (ls -l /dev/camera) lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 4 Dec 6 2002 /dev/camera -> sda1. Its a vfat filesystem over usb when connected. So thats probably whats happening here too. Kernel=2.4.22-rc2 atm. Yeah, I know, thats getting jurrasic, I've been out of pocket for 2 months. >- -- >Phil Dibowitz [EMAIL PROTECTED] >Freeware and Technical Pages Insanity Palace of > Metallica http://www.phildev.net/ > http://www.ipom.com/ > >"They that can give up essential liberty to obtain a little > temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety." >~ - Benjamin Franklin, 1759 > >-----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- >Version: GnuPG v1.2.3 (GNU/Linux) >Comment: Using GnuPG with Debian - http://enigmail.mozdev.org > >iD8DBQE/kgAoN5XoxaHnMrsRAlD9AJkBex1Ov+ptulFWXVSoIky7syDjfQCgjfYw >h/9YH/catucog7MS15qRWaQ= >=bBCB >-----END PGP SIGNATURE----- > > > >------------------------------------------------------- >This SF.net email sponsored by: Enterprise Linux Forum Conference & > Expo The Event For Linux Datacenter Solutions & Strategies in The > Enterprise Linux in the Boardroom; in the Front Office; & in the > Server Room http://www.enterpriselinuxforum.com >_______________________________________________ >[EMAIL PROTECTED] >To unsubscribe, use the last form field at: >https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/linux-usb-devel -- Cheers, Gene AMD [EMAIL PROTECTED] 320M [EMAIL PROTECTED] 512M 99.27% setiathome rank, not too shabby for a WV hillbilly Yahoo.com attornies please note, additions to this message by Gene Heskett are: Copyright 2003 by Maurice Eugene Heskett, all rights reserved. ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email sponsored by: Enterprise Linux Forum Conference & Expo The Event For Linux Datacenter Solutions & Strategies in The Enterprise Linux in the Boardroom; in the Front Office; & in the Server Room http://www.enterpriselinuxforum.com _______________________________________________ [EMAIL PROTECTED] To unsubscribe, use the last form field at: https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/linux-usb-devel
