Although it appears to contain Alan's patch, it doesn't quite work. It's OK as long as I don't run a scanner application software and usbmodules (old version) at the same time. If I run usbmodules during xsane, I'm getting usb 3-2: control timeout on ep0in usbfs: USBDEVFS_CONTROL failed cmd usbmodules dev 2 rqt 128 rq 6 len 18 ret -110 If I then try an application again, it won't work; not even after power cycling the scanner. This is in dmesg: usb 3-2: bulk timeout on ep2in usbfs: USBDEVFS_BULK failed dev 2 ep 0x82 len 4096 ret -110 usbfs: USBDEVFS_BULK failed dev 2 ep 0x82 len 4 ret -75 usb 3-2: control timeout on ep0out ehci_hcd 0000:00:10.4: GetStatus port 1 status 003802 POWER OWNER sig=j CSC hub 1-0:1.0: port 1, status 0, change 1, 12 Mb/s ehci_hcd 0000:00:10.4: GetStatus port 4 status 001002 POWER sig=se0 CSC hub 1-0:1.0: port 4, status 100, change 1, 12 Mb/s uhci_hcd 0000:00:10.1: port 2 portsc 008a hub 3-0:1.0: port 2, status 100, change 3, 12 Mb/s usb 3-2: USB disconnect, address 2 usb 3-2: usb_disable_device nuking all URBs usb 3-2: unregistering interface 3-2:1.0 DEV: Unregistering device. Is the khubd patch somewhere on the web? -- Matthias Andree Encrypt your mail: my GnuPG key ID is 0x052E7D95 ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by: IBM Linux Tutorials Free Linux tutorial presented by Daniel Robbins, President and CEO of GenToo technologies.
