Ok so, to make it short, except testing the patch you just sent, 
the most important thing to do now would be to patch the file-storage
gadget in order to make it use the autoconf stuff.
I'm gonna study a bit this stuff and send a patch for it. (currently I
got a endian problem with this gadget and I know autoconf will solve that
problem).

That's right, the platform I'm now using has only 2.4 kernel support
so I just got no choice but to use the 2.4 serie
