It's not clear whether that entire range of bcdDevice numbers is needed. Offhand I'd guess Fabrizio's device was 0x2210 so he created the entry to cover everything up to that number. However, it doesn't matter. The message from Erle Pereira said that the Protocol entry wasn't needed, but the current entry has US_PR_DEVICE so the Protocol override has been removed. In other words, the correct action has already beeen taken.
