A module already _is_ a module ... I for one don't understand this
question.

That said, it'd also be interesting to just have the cdc-acm code
reuse the same generic serial infrastructure as the other serial
drivers.  They're not quite the same, so my naturally suspicious
mind accordingly suspects that one or the other of them may well
be hiding bugs.  (If not both.  And yes, that's in addition to
the ones in the tty/serial subsystem, slowly getting fixed.)

Not that I'm likely to put in the time to make the serial and ACM
drivers share code, you understand, I just think it might be a
better solution.  Less code, and more debugging for the code
that's there.
