NAK on this one. The USB ID's is not a sufficient test (although I wish it were): there are some HP CD writers based on the USBAT2, and some flash readers based on the USBAT.

The other patch looks sensible though, thanks! I'll test it on my flash device when I next have access to it (2 weeks or so). Then we just have the device type detection to tweak (again)...
