You probably just need to modprobe ovcamchip. It doesn't get loaded automatically because ovfx2 doesn't import any symbols from it. I'll add a request_module("ovcamchip") to ovfx2.c in the next version.

Yes, RTFM.  Sorry about that.  Driver is working pretty good for me.
Some apps are segfaulting, but I don't know that it's a driver problem.

Unless you enabled the driver's V4L2 support (which is still somewhat unstable), I don't know what would cause this. Please send the specific app version, app and driver options, type of CPU, and anything else relevant, and I'll try to reproduce it.
