That's right. It's in 2.6.19-rc1. Merging changes like that one is a little tricky, since the SCSI core has to updated first (which it was for 2.6.18) and then usb-storage updated after. On the other hand, I see nothing wrong with changing the bcdDevice max value for the existing unusual_devs entry.
