Another thing I noticed: The hub has two ports: And only with one of the ports 
I have the problem with the scanner. COuld this just be some timing problem? 
Such as the kernel's usb subsystem tries to access the hub before it is fully 
wake? Perhpas the old code delayed the access enough?
