Hi everybody,
I want to install a Philips Webcam PCVC 690K on a kernel 2.2.14 patched
for USB.
My kernel compiles well with USB Support, USB Audio and USB UHCI (ALL
in module).
I insmod usbcore, videodev, audio, usb-pwc-... (philips driver) and at
last uhci or usb-uhci (the two work well) well and all is launched into
the kernel.
After this, my webcam is switching on.
I have also mounted usbdevfs correctly, but nothing appears into
/proc/bus/usb. Moreover, when i attempt to launch camstream or gqcam, no
video device is recognized.
I hope that someone could help me in order to resolve my problems.
