I do have /devfs enabled in the kernel and that is what I prefer to use. I
have read the document on it as well and tried "mknod" for it at 188, but
the devices I created I couldn't use... :-/

I know it's experimental right now, but I did assume it would make the nodes
itself...anyway to kickstart the kernel to make that happen?  Cause I take
it as an indication that things aren't working right if devfs doesn't make
devices for it.
