I recently installed a new MB (AOpen AK73 Pro(A)) with a 1 GZ Athon.
This board has two USB controllers and they don't work, giving the
"usb_control/bulk_msg: timeout" and "USB device not accepting new
address=3 (error=-110)" messages. I only have a cheapo CPia camera on
USB at the moment. It worked fine with the Pentium II, PIIX4?, and it
works OK using MS Windows on this board, which makes me think it is a
linux problem, not a board one.
I am using kernel 2.4.5, but kernel 2.4.6-pre 5 does the same.
I have browsed the archives for a solution, with little success.
Has anyone else tried this board? Or have I bought a lemon?
I attach dmesg and proc/bus/usb contents.
I hope someone can point me in the right direction. I can patch like
a goodun.
