Then it *is* Primax scanner :-) Microtek probably just manufactures the
Primax-designed device, or just sells it under its brand name. Microtek
doesn't have to develop everything that they sell.

Add vendor/product IDs to the scanner module and see what happens. If this
device is like most other scanners then it should work.

You have to bug authors of the driver about that. Sorry, can't help
here. The camera driver obviously needs some work...
