Good. You are finished with USB. You now have /dev/usbscanner0 (or whatever).

You now need to configure SANE backend for the scanner. I can not help you much with
that because I barely know it, and it can be a *very* complicated procedure, so you'd
better go to http://www.mostang.com/sane/ to find out how to. In particular, this page

talks about USB scanners, which is what you have. Both Microtek and Primax scanners
are listed there, in various stages of completeness, but none are explicitly marked as
"microtek 3360", so you'll need to find out (by asking SANE people) which is which. I
think it can be just a rehash of some other scanner, in different box, or with
different bundled software, or some other marketing issue.
