Hi All I am having problems with my Sony DSC P50 camera.

I have the kernel's usb-storage module compiled and configurations setup as the linux-usb website says. The modules inserted without a problem, and I still cannot mount the camera. Does anyone have any idea what may be causing this? I'm using debian, and hence debian's implementation of hotplug, is the problem is with hotplug?
