Hi, I have the IOGear 2 Port USB 2.0 PCMCIA CardBus Card (Model: GPU202), and their USB 2.0 External 2.5" Hard Drive Enclosure (Model: GHE125U) for my laptop. The only thing keeping me from switching to Linux from Win2K is I don't want to give up these devices.
I have Gentoo 1.4 installed (dual boot) with the 2.4.19 vanilla kernel, and I'm not seeing any signs that it is detecting the presence of the card or drive at all. I just downloaded the 2.4.20 kernel source. I'm wondering would the usb-ehci-2.4.20-pre11.patch do anything for me here, and if so can I apply the 2.4.20-pre11 patch to the 2.4.20 final release sources?
