Just to clarify, Heavy IO isn't heavy USB IO, it's heavy IO in general,
E.g. burning a CD, hitting swap a lot, cron jobs etc.... The problem got
better after I installed more memory.
I don't think there a problem with the hardware, as everything is fine
under windows. but anyhow...
