today morning (just resuming the notebook) reading all your eMails and
plugging in the usb-cable: (remember no reboot or changing anything or
apt-get upgrade or anything else)

Mar  5 06:22:06 independence /etc/hotplug/usb.agent: Setup usb-storage for USB product 
dda/1/25b

And all (mediastick and sd-card) mounts are working perfectly.

I'm very confused, but it works *smile*


Now I have some hints, I can hunt for .-)
