I am a new person to developing drivers for vendor specific USB boards in linux. I have done the same in windows past. In developing drivers in linux iam havind some basic doubts
1. how to load a developed driver to our board ( I have written a sample program Hello.c compiled and inserted into kernel correctly by insmod. Now I am able to see the prints in kernel dump and also the file in /etc/modules.conf ) now my doubt is is it is the same way for doing for a usb driver?
If yes then how the attached device will take the inserted module as its driver? ( the role of inf file in windows.)
Pl clarify my doubt.
Regards, Rajesh.K
