Hi,
I can't get my hp 3420 recognised as a usb2 device (it does work fine as
usb1). Should this work? I'm using 2.4.21-rc2. Nb. My usb2 scanner works
fine as usb2 (but it hasn't had a lot of testing as I only got this new
mb today :)
this is what dmesg gives when the printer is plugged in.
hub.c: new USB device 00:10.1-2, assigned address 3
usb.c: USB device 3 (vend/prod 0x3f0/0x7104) is not claimed by any
active driver.
usb.c: registered new driver usblp
printer.c: usblp0: USB Bidirectional printer dev 3 if 0 alt 0 proto 2
vid 0x03F0 pid 0x7104
printer.c: v0.11: USB Printer Device Class driver
this is what usbview tells me
