Sorry, forgot to describe my box, i'm on RedHat 9, kernel
linux-2.4.20-19.9, using OHCI (uhci is unfortunately incompatible with
my SiS chipset as i found out in the FAQs)
To be more specific, he said the ehci is a lot better and all, but will
it be compatible with SiS?

Let's try this question differently, can i compile the ehci module
assuming it is compatible on my kernel?

Sure I'll wait, the reason i'm asking is because i don't wanna download
alpha versions. but this is getting very painful.
