I havent seen any comments on this list about the USB code
in the 2.6.0-test? kernels.
>From my (minimal) tests,
(1) It seems that I can talk to a USB disk, but it still doesnt
seem to run the driver at 2.0 speeds [[ The disk transfers
at high speed with my machine at the office,- just luck I
guess ]].
(2) It seems to talk to my USB memory-key.
(3) It DOES NOT talk to my APC UPS, tho this works fine under
2.4.x. Ive turned on everything in sight during the compile,
and modprobed all the modules,- but nada. I guess that could
imply some problem with the HID stuff, or some configuration
option hiding off in the brush :-).
(4) I havent tried my scanner yet.
(5) I havent tried my printer yet.
In any case, any comments from someone who knows a bit about the code
would be appreciated.
