After some investigation I found that my PCI usb2 card was
running at USB1 speed, rather than the device connected to it:

These are my .config settings:

ohci_hcd               18628  0

And here's all the relevent info I can find on the subject, including
logs and Genesys posting I thought were relevent at first, but now I
see its the PCI card and not the device connected:

Any ideas why the PCI card is operating in USB1 mode? I have managed
to copy a 177mb file in less than 25 seconds to an external HD in
Windows on the same machine, so I guess that it is definately a USB2
device.

p.s. I have digest mode on so I'm unsure how to reply properly so that
the thread remains clear. How should I reply properly with digest mode
on?
