I see this problem is kind of common. I am using kernel 2.6.11.5. I am trying to communicate with my UPS via usb.
When I attach it I seem to get
$ dmesg usbcore: registered new driver usbfs usbcore: registered new driver hub usbcore: registered new driver hiddev usbcore: registered new driver usbhid drivers/usb/input/hid-core.c: v2.0:USB HID core driver usb 1-1: new low speed USB device using uhci_hcd and address 2 usb 1-1: khubd timed out on ep0in usb 1-1: khubd timed out on ep0in hiddev96: USB HID v1.00 Device [0d9f:0001] on usb-0000:00:07.2-1 usb 1-1: cat timed out on ep0in usb 1-1: cat timed out on ep0in usb 1-1: cat timed out on ep0in usb 1-1: USB disconnect, address 2 usb 1-1: new low speed USB device using uhci_hcd and address 3 usb 1-1: khubd timed out on ep0in usb 1-1: khubd timed out on ep0in hiddev96: USB HID v1.00 Device [0d9f:0001] on usb-0000:00:07.2-1
Any tips?
Thanks....
