Ed,
According to their web pages, they have Linux drivers
for their Delta products but don't list any for the
MidiSport products.
I don't think that we have any experiences dealing
with them. Looks like you'll need to contact them
about technical interface specs to the product.
If that doesn't work, try to convince them to produce
a Linux driver for the MidiSports, or convince them
that you can/will do it (maybe with some help).
Very low cost to them (2 free products ?), no long-term
driver maintenance issues for them. They will
need to provide tech specs and engineering support
via email. (All examples; you decide how to negotiate
with them.)
An alternative to you contacting them is to work with
Miles Lott ([EMAIL PROTECTED]). When I asked for vendor
liaison volunteers back in February, he's the person
who stepped forward (or everyone else stepped backward).
He's mostly been working with serial converted device
manufacturers, along with Greg K-H. At least discuss
your negotiating strategy with Miles to see if he can
offer you some suggestions.
HTH.
~Randy
