Ok, so in that case it is supported in FreeBSD, and most probably in
Linux as well. The SCSI stack should be able to sort out the number of
LUNs from the INQUIRY data.
Now, the only problem is how to find out the maximum number of LUNs
supported. In BBB there is a MAXLUN request. Would a future CBI spec
include a request like that as well.
