Hi all, (mostly Vojtech) just a quick heads-up on some testing I have done with 2.3.99-pre3 in the past few days. #1: Interrupt out seems to work fine on both host controller architectures #2: HID doesn't like large descriptors. I have a device with a descriptor > 1024 bytes (WingMan Force Feedback Mouse, after the firmware download). #3: HID doesn't get along with descriptors with multiple top-level collections. It seems to keep the last collection it sees, making the above mentioned device a "HID Pointer" rather than "HID Mouse" (it has 4 top-level collections, 2 mice, one joystick and one PID collection). #4: mousedev (and also joydev) causes major trouble (oopses) with this device. I'm still looking at this one. I'll let the list know if I have any good fixes. ..tom PS: I know I might be pushing it a little by trying exotic devices like this, but hey, they are out there, and future devices might be equally weird... --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
