Subject: Re: abit bp6's QQ bios for usb on linux
Hi JC, I am a BP6 user, and I use a USB keyboard and mouse as well. USB on
the BP6 works with any BIOS revision, with 1 particular caveat. If you are
using the USB controller with a pre QQ bios, you must have your MPS
setting in your bios set to 1.1. If you are only using one CPU in your BP6
this does not matter. However, if you are using two CPU's then it is
better to use MPS1.4, however, its not necessary. The QQ BIOS solves this
problem. This is true for all versions of the linux kernel, as well as
Win2k. For more information about this stuff, check out www.bp6.com.
