Hi,
If I recall correctly, with NJ bios or earlier, the following applies
as far as USB in concerned:

- Linux 2.2.14 and the USB backport patch worked fine with MPS 1.4
- Linux 2.3.x up to around 2.3.19 worked fine with MPS 1.4
- Linux 2.3.x from 2.3.43 or maybe 2.3.44 onward work fine with MPS 1.4
- Linux 2.3.x kernels inbetween the above required MPS1.1
- Win2k required MPS1.1

I know posted about this back when these kernels were current, its probably
in the list archives somewhere.
