H All,
        I've had this problem for a while and I just wondered if this is
expected or not. I'm not sure it is due to USB but I've had it since I
started using the backport. I've not tried with 2.3.99-X yet. Anyway, the
trouble is that when I suspect and resume my laptop it just freezes. Last
time I tried (with 2.2.15-pre20 + latest backport) I happened to be on the
console at the time. When it resumed it printed this message before
freezing;

usb-uchi.o: interrupt, status 28, frame# 1341

        I didn't have any usb devices plugged in but I do load the
following modules at boot time;

hid                    10388   0  (unused)
input                   2524   0  [hid]
printer                 3500   0  (unused)
usb-uhci               20928   0  (unused)
usbcore                38600   0  [hid printer usb-uhci]

        I have done a few test suspect/resumes while in single user mode
and it seems to work. It did even work with usb modules loaded. However,
it never works while in multiuser mode.
        Anyway, I'm not really looking for a solution, I just wondered if
I should expect USB to work after a suspect/resume cycle?

                                                        regards,

                                                        Stephen.
