I have USB only machine that I use at home i.e. no serial ports. What
I'd like to be able to do is access my digital camera that only has a
serial interface on it.
I see that the USB serial support is coming along well but seems to be
focussing on multiport serial devices I guess as generally used by ISPs
and such to run modem banks.
I'm really not interested in such a device but something smaller maybe
just one or two ports (ideally with a hub integrated). I notice from
your comments in one of device support pages that Belkin has been less
than helpful in providing technical information to allow support of
their devices. Is there a device you (or someone else) is currently
working on supporting? If not I am willing to do some development here.
Is there another manufacturer you could recommend that would likely be
more helpful?
