Users dont like change, ISV's dont like change, devfs has some unsolved
race conditions at least the last time Al Viro reviewed it. And it isnt
clear its the right solution.

So USB needs to work without devfs..

USBdevfs being part of devfs is 100% right - Im not arguing about that bit.
And you dont get all the neat functionality if you dont use devfs.
