I have a reasonably expensive 2020u monitor with build in USB hub.
Funny enough, this hub shows always a 'device' attached to it. Here a
piece of cat /proc/bus/usb/devices:
T: Bus=01 Lev=02 Prnt=02 Port=02 Cnt=01 Dev#= 3 Spd=1.5 MxCh= 0
D: Ver= 1.00 Cls=00(>ifc ) Sub=00 Prot=00 MxPS= 8 #Cfgs= 1
P: Vendor=0452 ProdID=0080 Rev= 1.00
S: Manufacturer=MITSUBISHI ELECTRIC?NUB1107U?902101011 ??
S: Product=NUB1107U?902101011 ???????????????????
S: SerialNumber=902101011 ??????????????????
C:* #Ifs= 1 Cfg#= 1 Atr=40 MxPwr=100mA
I: If#= 0 Alt= 0 #EPs= 1 Cls=03(HID ) Sub=00 Prot=00 Driver=hid
E: Ad=81(I) Atr=03(Int.) MxPS= 8 Ivl=
10ms
Wonder what it is, since it there even if I have nothing else
attached...
What could those 'funny' characters mean? It at least does not look
'nice' in
usbview, next to those clean and neatly arranged other devices. Some
vendor delivering
product information in kanji?
Oh, may be relevant; 2020u allows to attach two video inputs...
