I just rebuilt ov511 driver with the changes described in the last posting... very interesting results... The image quality seems to have greatly improved. The noise is greatly reduced and the picture is much sharper. It looks like the possible extra data was being carried over from one pix to the next and was polluting the image with artifacts. I would be interested to hear if anyone else notices the difference.
