I'm using a combination of 7.1 and 7.0.. The only issues I've had with RH are sodding RPM dependencies, but I get around those by using source..
Never had a problem on 7.1 compiling things, but 7.0 did have some issues with it's libc and db3-devel libraries that made some stuff crap out... Having said all of that, I mainly use linux as a server/appliance OS rather than a desktop. I've only got one machine with KDE on it, and it's just the stock build from RH 7.1 and it all works fine for what I want it to do so I've not bothered to D/L the new KDE and do the compile game.. Upgrade to Mandrake? Isn't any change of distro just a sidestep? Cheers, Chris Hellyar.
