Sorry, but I've lived in canterbury all my life. I do know there is another 'Gareth Williams' (about my age too) somewhere in NZ (north island I think) - I found out ages ago when I was out of town once and broke a finger... I went to see a doctor and they looked up my medical record on the computer: "name?" - "Gareth Willams" "which one?" - "What??"
it was quite funny. also, a while ago I heard that a friend of an aquaintence of a friend (or something!) knew a 'Gareth Williams' (in the NI) - caused a bit of confusion. lol. Anyway, you're obviously looking for the other Gareth. Sorry.
